Adult Registration: $420 (age 17 and up)
Senior Adult Registration: $370 (age 63 and up)
Teen Registration: $230 (ages 13-16)
Youth Registration: $200 (ages 9-12)
Kids Registration: $90 (ages 4-8)
Wee Ones: (ages 1-3) FREE

Cancelation, Refund and NEW Transfer Policy
For all cancellations and transfers, we must be notified via the Registration Cancellation or Registration Transfer forms linked below.
Cancellations: Refunds, minus a $75 administration fee per adult or senior registration, are available up to 30 days prior to the event. Refunds can be obtained by contacting the office by our online form (required) at least 30 days prior to the start of the event (by January 14, 2027). Feel free to call us, but we must also have the request via our new Registration Cancellation form.
There is no administration fee for canceling and refunding Kid, Youth, and Teen registrations.
Transfers- New 2027 Policy
You no longer need to contact us to transfer your registration.
If you show up to Check-in and there is an issue with the registration that you transferred from, it is not our concern and you will not be accommodated.
You can only transfer like registrations, adult for adult, teen for teen, etc.
Situations in which Transferring through WC is a good idea:

You need to find someone to transfer to.

Someone you don’t know is offering you a registration but you don’t know them and you want to make sure that they in fact are registered themselves (this has happened, beware).

If you are transferring a Kid, Youth or Teen registration. We don’t charge for this. You can contact us by email and we will do that manually.
Transfers through Winter Count: Your registration can be transferred to another person up to 15 days (by Jan. 31, 2027) before the event begins (February 14, 2027). There is a $50 fee for each transferred registration. For a transfer, you must contact us (required) at least 15 days prior to the start of the event. Registration Transfer form.
Don’t have anyone to transfer to? Contact us and we will put you in touch with someone from our waitlist.
If you are doing a transfer that requires and exchange of funds for your registration, you are responsible for the transaction… not Winter Count.
If you are transferring a kid, youth or teen registration, you can contact us by email and we will do that manually at no cost.
Cancellation due
to weather or anything else...
Extreme weather conditions are becoming more of a concern. If catastrophic conditions require us to close the camp during an event, refunds will not be available. If the Winter Count Primitive Skills conference is cancelled before the beginning date (February 15, 2026) due to weather or any other reason, a credit of 50% of your registration fee will be credited for the following year's conference.
There are trip insurance options available through brokers that provide a policy to cover such an occurrence.
